Complete your Tenet account application

This guide will walk you through the steps of completing your Tenet account application. The application process is simple and straightforward, and consists of several steps where you will be asked to provide information about the yourself, your business, and your banking needs. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by Tenet. Let's get started!

TenetOS username credentials

You have been provided with a unique username by email during the Start your Tenet account application process and your username shall be used to sign in to TenetOS. Your username is case sensitive. Your username shall consist of: (i) the first letter of your first name, (ii) the first 5 letters or less of your surname, and (iii) a randomly generated 4 digits.

0. If you have signed out, please sign in to TenetOS with your "Username" and "Password". Click [SIGN IN].

1. Tell us about yourself and your relationship to the applicant entity.

These details include whether you are a politically exposed person and relationship(s) to the applicant entity. The relationship(s) selected here shall determine your initial permissions on the account.

How are your initial permissions on the account determined?

If you are a director, controller, or equivalent to the entity, and are selected to provide due diligence, your initial permissions are as follows:

  • Transaction: Authorised signatory
  • Administrator: Yes

If you are not providing due diligence, your initial permissions are as follows:

  • Transaction: View access
  • Administrator: Limited

2. Enter the general details of the applicant, such as the name and nature of business. Click [Save and Continue].

These details include the full legal name, registration number, country and date of incorporation, nature of business and industry, number of employees and locations, and other online presence.

3. Enter the identification details of the applicant, such as the regulated status and addresses of the applicant. Click [Save and Continue].

4. Enter the details of the bank account, such as the purpose and estimated activity of the account. Click [Save and Continue].

These details include the details of the purpose of the account, estimated value and origin of the initial deposit, and the value and locations of ongoing activity of the account.

5. Create the structure chart of the applicant entity, such as the shareholders and directors. Click [Save and Continue].

Add a contact or entity to the structure chart by clicking [Add Component].

  • For Contacts, enter the name, email address, mobile number, and the relationship(s) to the applicant entity.
  • For Entities, enter the name, regulated status, and the relationship(s) to the applicant entity.

The email address must be valid and the mobile number must be able to receive SMS messages.

The contacts you add to your structure may be eligible for Accelerated Due Diligence (ADD). Learn more about ADD here.

ADD enables existing individuals in TenetOS to share their due diligence information with you. This eliminates duplicate data entries and streamlines the onboarding process. Learn more about ADD here.

6. Complete the verification details and documentation for contacts and entities in the structure chart.

For each contact and entity, complete the general, identification, and verification information.

Tenet applies a risk-based approach (RBA) to due diligence. Learn more about RBA in TenetOS.

7. Review and confirm your initial administration rules set-up.

What are administration rules? Administration rules are the set of rules that govern critical changes to your account settings, such as adding new users and creating new transaction rules.

The initial group of administration rules consists of individuals that have authority over the entity, such as the director, managing members, power of attorney, or equivalent. You may remove individuals or change the required number of approvals by clicking [Edit]. The administration rules may be updated at any time after account opening.

8. Once all information is completed, go to the applicant entity and click [Submit for Review].

Please note that you will have to [Save] the documents to ensure completion before you can [Submit for Review].


What happens next?

  • The application has been submitted to Tenet for review
  • If there are any questions, you will receive an email notification that there's an update to your account application
